What an inspiring weekend! While it is my sincere wish that none of us would need to deal with the realities in Haiti, it was a distinct honor to speak with George Clooney, MTV, Adrian Paul and a host of uber fabs who understand that to make a difference we are all one world and one “family”.

I don’t care what anyone says SHE defines uber fab!
In the wake of Haiti’s catastrophe, it is good to know that the “Material Girl” is still willing to share her good fortune. According to sources at Partners in Health, “Madonna has donated $250,000 to Partners in Health, which is a health care provider in Haiti. The singer stated, ‘we must act now,’ and is encouraging all her friends and fans to follow in her footsteps and donate whatever they can.
Many celebrities have shown overwhelming support for the survivors and their devastating loss which is further proof that Tinsel Town has some depth of character. While Madonna has long taken many fiery darts for her outspoken, aggressive stance on life, love, family and just about everything else; she has time and again been on the forefront of many important causes.

Did she front the 1 million bucks graciously donated by Hollywood’s royal couple, Brad and Angelina? Not quite, but it appears while “girls may come and girls may go…” This “girl” is here to stay and leverage her fame and name for what is simply the right thing to do.

Today, I continue to live in that “nether region” between Christmas and New Year’s Day… This of course gives me time to think (uh oh) and even more time to watch and re-watch some of my uber favorites…. Mainly, Glee.
It also gives me time to go to the Holy Grail of source material (NOT!) “Wikapoopia” to get my facts delightfully wrong! But this is falling far short of a scholarly essay, so HUSH UP and try to enjoy…

A glee club is a musical group, historically of male voices but also of women’s or mixed voices, which traditionally specializes in the singing of short songs—glees—by trios or quartets. Sooooooooooo after we returned from saving the world we had time for a lil’ chit-chat (she took the alto part as I led the tenor section).
What a joy it was to meet a fellow “Random” as we “Gleefully” bounced from one topic to the next ( had to say it…) I realized this was a woman with a “past”!

Tis’ the season to forget that it “tis the season”… In fact, even after JUST taking some “me time” to give back to the community that has supported me in so many ways… I still must admit the Uber was sucked right out of MY Fab as I found I was having an A.M. (Atomic Moment)…Not a B.M. ( Duh you know what that is…. Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwh!) over something as silly as…Well it was the LAST string of non-twinkling, five foot, multi-circuit… Annnnnnywayyyyyy, this has become a season of forgetting not remembering.
- Forgetting to say “Please” and “Thank you”
- Forgetting that many of us do have enough while others will go without
- Forgetting that holiday gatherings are about responsibility and getting behind the wheel of a car drunk is simply unacceptable
- Forgetting that to give of yourself and your time is a precious gift that WILL make a difference

I am not one to promote any one product and I am the first to tell ya’ before you put anything on your face talk to your doctor. But over a frappa wappa lotta over price a drink-a… From that chain of coffee houses I still refuse to name until they will let me talk to the CEO and get me an uber fab interview… I have to admit that after passing it around and using it on my not so fresh face….
